RITUALS
Daily practices, small routines, gentle living, written reflections, captions, thought prompts.
Slowing Down
Honour the wisdom of slowing down. A ritual that brings softness, art, and wellness together. Just curiosity, and a willingness to slow down
EXPERIENCES
It's not about becoming an artist. It's about giving yourself permission to pause. Each brushstroke is a breath. Each layer a reminder that beauty takes time.
The Holistic Artist

Go See Sue Journal is my exploration of art as ritual and self-care as creation.
Through watercolour, journaling, and daily practices of slowing down, I curate content that weaves together the therapy of art, the wisdom of aging, and the nourishment of holistic living.
I believe that our skin, body, and mind are all one canvas, layered with experience, touched by nature, and worthy of care. Each post is an invitation to pause, reflect, and see beauty in the quiet rituals that sustain us.
My work is for women, especially those over 50, who are seeking not trends but truth: a softer rhythm, an intentional life, and practices that honor both creativity and well-being. This is not influencer culture. It is a living journal, a place where brushstrokes, words, and rituals converge to remind us that tending to ourselves is its own form of art.

Thank you for unlocking this for me! I had tried starting on my own but struggled. You took away the tension and made watercolours feel approachable and fun.

I was so impressed with the Emily Lex watercolour workbook and practice sheets you provided. Everything was beautifully thought out and my friend said it made the experience so enjoyable. I would love for my daughter to do this workshop!
